Wine Spectator crowns Ferrari Brut Trentodoc and Ferrari Rosé Trentodoc
Exceeding 90 points in Wine Spectator’s evaluation is, without doubt, a blessing for any wine. To be mentioned in an article dedicated to the 11 best sparkling wines with more than 90 points is a further recognition of the excellence of Ferrari and its Trentodocs. The two labels Ferrari Brut and Ferrari Rosé, the best known and most present on the international markets, both scored 91/100, perfectly combining the winery’s age-old oenological expertise with the elegance of mountain sparkling wines.
The prestigious American magazine has been reporting on the world’s best wines since 1976, representing one of the most influential voices on a global level in defining sector trends. Wine Spectator’s appreciation for Ferrari Trento has been consolidated for years.
The review of the two labels is by Alison Napjus, Senior Editor, who described the Ferrari Brut as “a refined wine with character, bright and lively, with a fine, velvety perlage, that takes you on a journey of flavours, from pineapple to orange peel, from tangerine to cherry, accentuated by ginger, white flowers and fleur de sel”. The Rosé version, on the other hand, is described as “harmonious, with hints of white peach, blood orange sorbet, toasted Macadamia nut and oyster, with a savoury streak on the long, creamy finish”.
Ferrari Trento promotes a culture of drinking responsibly which is part of the Italian Art of Living.
It is a culture linked to the ritual nature of food and the celebration of convivial occasions, in which consumption is moderate and informed.
