The Italian Embassy in Washington toasts the Unity of Italy with Ferrari Riserva 150°
Great celebrations today, Tuesday 4th October, at the Italian Embassy in Washington. And not just because it is the feast of the Patron of Italy but also because, with regard to the celebrations for the 150th anniversary of the Unity of Italy, the ribbon is being cut at the inauguration of an exhibition dedicated to the regions ("Regioni e testimonianze" [Regions and Testimonies] is the title) with a reception and, almost naturally, considering the occasion, with the sparkling wine Ferrari Riserva 150°, the only bubbles permitted at the toast. A huge gathering of Italian excellencies is expected, starting with Giuliano Amato, President of the Commission for the 150th anniversary of Italy’s unification, along with American excellencies.
