The Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships: Ferrari Trento is winner of the “World Champion – Classic Blanc de Noirs” trophy after being named Sparkling Wine Producer of the Year
Among the star wineries honored at the prestigious The Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships gala dinner, held on 24th October at Merchant Taylors Hall in London, Ferrari Trento’s star sparkled brightest this year.
Many of the world’s most renowned Champagne and sparkling wine producers attended the ceremony, at which awards were presented to winners in the competition’s various categories.
Ferrari Trento won the prestigious “World Champion – Classic Blanc de Noirs” trophy, awarded to Ferrari Perlé Nero Riserva Magnum 2015. An important confirmation for a Trentodoc that conquered Pinot Nero lovers from its very first vintage: extraordinarily different and proudly unique.
Ferrari Trento also picked up the ‘Producer of the Year’ title for the seventh time, alongside the 13 gold medals that the judges awarded to the winery’s wines.
These results acknowledge Ferrari Trento’s constant quest for excellence and highlight Trentodoc sparkling wines at the international level. With 70 medals, Trentodoc was the most- awarded appellation at this year’s awards, demonstrating the value of this extraordinary territory and its mountain viticulture.
