Ferrari Trento at “Identità Golose 2018” to discuss the Art of Hospitality with the best restaurant owners in the world according to The World’s 50 Best Restaurants

Ferrari Trento is back at “Identità Golose”, the prestigious congress hosted in Milan on March 3-5, but its stand in the main sponsor area is just an appetizer, with the main dish being a rich series of sponsored events that will focus once again on the relevance of the Art of Hospitality, the magic chemistry crafted by the combination of hospitality, service, and human warmth that can turn a meal into an unforgettable experience.

This is an evergreen topic for Ferrari Trento, who has been heralding it for years through numerous initiatives, such as the partnership with The World’s 50 Best Restaurants and the Ferrari Trento Art of Hospitality Award. This year, the topic goes hand in hand with the main theme chosen by “Identità Golose”; “The Human Component“. It seems indeed more than logical to focus on the importance of the value of hospitality in the framework of a conference that aims at emphasising the human relationships within the restaurant business. The chefs as individuals as well as their relation with all those working around them, both in the kitchen and in the dining room, are protagonists here.

Identità di Sala“, due on March 4, will be the first event on schedule, so save the date!  During this conference, the MVPs of the hospitality industry will talk all things related to the value of hospitality, such as vocational training, the role of family, and the importance of the hotel and restaurant industry. The list of speakers includes Will Guidara of the Eleven Madison Park in New York, and Josep Roca of the El Celler de Can Roca restaurant in Girona, who will once again take the stage of the Auditorium of “Identità Golose” on Monday, March 5, during an event presented by Ferrari Trento and exclusively devoted to the Art of Hospitality.

Both Guidara and Roca have been proud winners of the Ferrari Trento Art of Hospitality Award and they will share their tips on how to enhance the role of the professionals – such as maîtres, sommeliers and waiters – to turn hospitality into a form of art. They will be joined on stage by Massimo Bottura, the owner of Osteria Francescana, completing an extraordinary trio composed by the last three winners of the prestigious international ranking The World’s 50 Best Restaurants, represented in Milan by its Deputy Editor, Laura Price. The panel will be introduced and moderated by the journalist Federico De Cesare Viola and it will also feature speeches by Matteo Lunelli, president of Ferrari Trento, and Paolo Marchi, founder of “Identità Golose”.

Finally, on Monday, March 5, there will be a special tasting session open to all wine lovers. Marcello Lunelli, wine expert of Ferrari Trento, will guide the participants on a genuine journey to discover all the different expressions of mountain Chardonnay grapes, starting from the variety grown at Villa Margon – the Trentino Chardonnay produced by Lunelli Estates – to the wide varieties offered by Trentodoc wines, finishing off in style with the sublime taste of Giulio Ferrari Riserva del Fondatore del 1993.
