Ferrari Trento among the protagonists of the World’s Best Sommeliers’ Selection 2024

The World’s Best Sommeliers’ Selection is the exclusive initiative that brings together the best sommeliers, with the aim of highlighting the diversity and cultural heritage linked to the wine traditions of various regions of the world and has selected the iconic Trentodoc Ferrari Perlé 2018 for the 2024 edition.

Like the other award-winning wines, the label featured in professional tastings led by President Josep Roca, the soul of the famous El Celler de Can Roca, and thirty other influential international sommeliers. During the tasting process, the detailed oenological narratives that conveyed the story of each label were highly appreciated.

The 2018 Ferrari Perlé was described as an elegant Blanc de Blancs, caressing the nose with notes of rennet apple, white peach flesh, lychee and lemon zest. On the palate, it was found to be harmoniously perfumed, soft fresh and savoury with a delicate perlage, perfect for accompanying foods that do not overpower its complexity, such as fish and grilled vegetables or a pasta with herbs and lemon.
