Ferrari Riserva Lunelli 2009 crowned by Decanter with a score of 100/100

Decanter acknowledges Ferrari Riserva Lunelli 2009 with top marks, awarding the iconic Trentodoc an impressive 100/100. A further milestone in a season full of recognitions for this label, which a few days ago recived the prestigious Gambero Rosso “Tre Bicchieri” award for the 2016 vintage.

Ferrari Riserva Lunelli is a perfect synthesis of mountain viticulture and the experience of three entrepreneurial generations and is the first label on which the Lunelli family has put its family name. The 2009 vintage expresses to the full the aromatic characteristics that distinguish the Ferrari style, thanks to the diurnal shift, which allows to obtain a perfect ripeness and acidity balance.

The vinification in wood, an ancient tradition carried on by Bruno Lunelli, who acquired the eponymous Cantine from the founder, Giulio Ferrari, is a fundamental element in the creation of this sparkling wine, giving it an intense and varied aromatic profile and a balanced palate, elements that won over the magazine’s judges.
