Ferrari Trento conquers the Merano Wine Festival
Ferrari Trento collected numerous awards at the Merano Wine Festival, one of the most important events on the Italian wine scene held from the 8th to the 11th November. It was awarded not only for the high quality of its wines but also for its constant commitment to being an ambassador of Italian wine excellence around the world.
Ferrari Riserva Lunelli 2016, Trentodoc, as one of the winners of the “Corona” award by ViniBuoni d’Italia Guide, was included in the selection of the ‘Best 300 wines of Italy’.
In addition, Helmut Köcher, curator of the Wine Hunter award, assigned the ‘Gold’ medal to the Riserva Lunelli and the ‘Red’ medal to the Ferrari Maximum Blanc de Blancs.
These important awards won by the winery’s labels were crowned with the Wine Hunter Honour Award in the ‘Conquest’ category. The title was awarded to the Lunelli family ‘for having been able to create with their iconic mountain sparkling wine a worldwide success of quality and recognisability, bringing Italian “savoir faire” into the most prestigious international contexts’.
