Ferrari Trento celebrated Biodiversity Week

For the 20th anniversary of the World Biodiversity Association, Ferrari Trento celebrated the Biodiversity Week. The Trentino company, symbol of the excellence of Italian sparkling wine and always committed to sustainability, renewed its obligation to the protection of biodiversity and its support for the WBA, of which it has been a partner for years.

In September, the association organised in Piedmont, at the Certosa di Avigliana, a series of events dedicated to the discovery and enhancement of biodiversity. Conferences, excursions, guided tours and workshops involved experts, students and enthusiasts, offering a unique opportunity to explore crucial topics such as the role of pollinators, the conservation of ecosystems and the importance of sustainable agriculture.

The partnership between Ferrari Trento and WBA stems from the sharing of common values. The Trento-based company, organic–certified since 2017 and recognised by the association as a ‘Biodiversity Friend’, has always believed in the importance of farming practices that respect the environment and biodiversity.

Biodiversity Week is an invitation to reflect on our relationship with nature and to commit ourselves to a more sustainable future. The event concluded with the presentation of the WBArt. 9 Biodiversity Award, an accolade dedicated to those who have distinguished themselves in the research, dissemination and protection of biodiversity.

Ferrari Trento promotes a culture of drinking responsibly which is part of the Italian Art of Living.

It is a culture linked to the ritual nature of food and the celebration of convivial occasions, in which consumption is moderate and informed.
