Ferrari Riserva Lunelli 2016 wins the Tre Bicchieri from Gambero Rosso

The prestigious Guide to Italian Wine Gambero Rosso awarded the Ferrari Riserva Lunelli 2016, Trentodoc the Tre Bicchieri prize, one of the highest recognitions in the Italian wine panorama.

The Tre Bicchieri (Three Glasses) is a symbol of quality and excellence and thus recognises the Ferrari Trento label as one of the best sparkling wines in the country, a perfect synthesis of innovation and tradition, able to excite and conquer even the most demanding palates.

A Trentodoc of extraordinary complexity, Ferrari Riserva Lunelli comes from a careful selection of the best Chardonnay grapes from vineyards located on the slopes of the Trentino mountains. The winery’s first label, on which the Lunelli family has put its family name on, is distinguished by first fermentation in large Austrian oak barrels, a custom that harks back to the House’s centuries-old tradition and that gives the wine a truly unique richness of flavour and harmony.

The 2016 vintage, despite the climatic challenges, yielded a wine of great balance and elegance, allowing the grapes, hand-picked and carefully selected, to best express the characteristics of the Trentino terroir.
