Ferrari Limited Edition Missoni Red enters The Wolf Post’s (Di)Wine Guide
The Wolf Post Wine Magazine awarded a score of 91/100 to the Limited-Edition Missoni Red of Ferrari Trento 2018, disgorgement 2022. Ferrari’s collaboration with the iconic Italian fashion house dates back to 2023, and the famous zig-zag motif is featured on the label of this special bottle, with its elegant matt black background, enlivened by the unmistakable Missoni-style design in various colours, including red.
Defined as ‘a champion for moments of conviviality’ by Piero Pardini, founder of the magazine, journalist, sommelier and wine critic, this pure Chardonnay, born in the best mountain vineyards of Trentino, is a sparkling wine of refined complexity that is an ambassador of the Italian style that the two brands represent in the world.
Pardini’s tasting describes the Ferrari Trentodoc Missoni Red as a wine that opens on the nose with hints of flowers, enhanced by notes of yellow-fleshed fruit and scents of candied citrus fruits, to arrive at delicate nuances of spices and toasted hazelnuts, to complete the range on the nose. In the mouth, a lovely freshness and delicate savouriness stand out, corroborated by a persistence that culminates in a pleasant harmony.
