Ferrari Trento scores the full ‘5 Grappoli’ in the 2024 Bibenda Guide
Once again, three different Ferrari Trento labels won the ‘5 Grappoli’ award of the Bibenda Guide of the Italian Sommelier Foundation (Fis), headed by Franco Ricci.
Now in its 26th edition, the Guide was presented at the Hilton Cavalieri Hotel in Rome on November 18th with an event where it was possible to taste all 700 labels awarded with this prestigious recognition.
Ferrari Trento was represented by the Giulio Ferrari Riserva del Fondatore 2012, the Perlé Nero Riserva 2016 and the Giulio Ferrari Rosé 2012, accompanied by Tenute Lunelli‘s equally award-winning still wines Solenida 2018, Sangiovese, Costa Toscana I.G.T. and Carapace Lunga Attesa 2016 Montefalco Sagrantino D.O.C.G..
The Giulio Ferrari Riserva del Fondatore is the most awarded Italian sparkling wine ever: it is not surprising, therefore, that the Rosé version, since its presentation in 2018, is also winning important awards for each vintage produced. The awards obtained not only by the Giulio Ferrari Rosé 2012 but also by the Ferrari Perlé Nero Riserva 2016 showcase the strong expression of mountain Pinot Noir, demonstrating Ferrari Trento’s great work on this grape variety that is as elegant as it is complex and delicate, cultivated in the family vineyards on the slopes of the mountains framing Trento.
Ferrari Trento promotes a culture of drinking responsibly which is part of the Italian Art of Living.
It is a culture linked to the ritual nature of food and the celebration of convivial occasions, in which consumption is moderate and informed.
