Matteo Renzi and Manuel Valls visit Villa Margon and Locanda Margon
The prime ministers of Italy and France, in Trento to discuss economic reform and other major international issues for the Economics Festival, found time for a private meeting in the midst of their public duties.
After visiting Villa Margon, the Renaissance welcome center of the Lunelli Group where they were served an aperitif with Ferrari Perlé 2008, they moved on to the nearby Locanda Margon. The Michelin-starred chef, Alfio Ghezzi, planned a menu for them based on arctic char and asparagus from the Adige valley, potato gnocchi with tomato, eggplant, olives and anchovies, veal filet with peas and potatoes, and finally, apple cake topped with a delectable ice cream.
The lunch, accompanied by Giulio Ferrari 2002, was inaugurated with a special toast with the Ferrari Riserva “Orgoglio Italia”; the limited, 2015 numbered bottles, edition created to celebrate Expo Milano 2015 and in memory of the gold medal won by Giulio Ferrari at the International Exposition in Milan in 1906. This particular Trentodoc today represents a new reason to be proud: it has sealed the friendship between France and Italy with an Italian bubble.
Ferrari Trento promotes a culture of drinking responsibly which is part of the Italian Art of Living.
It is a culture linked to the ritual nature of food and the celebration of convivial occasions, in which consumption is moderate and informed.
