11 Gold Medals for Ferrari Trento at the Champagne and Sparkling Wine World Championships
The Champagne and Sparkling Wine World Championships have rewarded Ferrari Trento with no less than 11 Gold Medals: this extraordinary result was revealed just a few days ago by Tom Stevenson himself, the creator of these awards and one of the world’s greatest experts on sparkling wines. The full prize list, now also available on the www.champagnesparklingwwc.co.uk website, includes 127 Gold Medals and 67 Silvers – awarded to wines from no less than 29 different countries – and Ferrari Trento is one of the wineries anywhere that has received most accolades.
The Champagne and Sparkling Wine World Championships is a prestigious international competition devoted solely to the sparkling wine sector. Ever since its foundation, in 2014, it has always rated the Trentodocs of Ferrari Trento as being among the finest sparklers in the world, even declaring Ferrari “Sparkling Wine Producer of the Year” in 2015 and rewarding the Ferrari Brut Trentodoc as “World Champion Classic Blanc de Blancs” and ”Best Italian Sparkling Wine” in 2016.
Looking forward to the Gala which will be held in the historic Vintners Hall in London on 14th September, when the winners of the various categories and the Best in Class wines will be officially announced, Ferrari Trento is already extremely proud of this achievement, in which wines and vintages that represent pretty much the whole of the production of the Trento-based winery have been rewarded.
